Privacy Policy

Summary

LimePlayer is local-first. Games you import, converted media, Optimize results, and save files stay on your device. The App does not create accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not sell your personal information.

Who we are

LimePlayer is an iOS app (bundle ID com.limerpgplayer.app) that lets you import and play unencrypted RPG Maker MV game ZIPs you provide.

Information we process

On your device only

• Imported games — ZIP contents you choose via the system file picker, stored in the App’s sandbox.
• Converted / optimized files — e.g. audio converted for iOS playback, and image Optimize output that replaces originals when you run Optimize.
• Game saves — stored as native files under the game’s save folder (not as a cloud sync service operated by us).
• App settings — preferences such as virtual buttons and Max image edge, stored locally (e.g. on-device storage).

Permissions you grant

The App may request access to files you select for import. It does not need your contacts, photos library (beyond files you pick), microphone, or location to function as a local player.

Network use

• During play, game content is served from a local HTTP server on the device (loopback). Game WebView networking is restricted so the title cannot freely reach the open internet through the player.
• The App does not download games from our servers. We do not operate a game catalog or account backend for LimePlayer.
• Apple’s App Store may process purchase, download, and update data under Apple’s own privacy practices when you install or update the App.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

LimePlayer does not include third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers for cross-app tracking. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

Children

The App is a general-purpose player. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Imported game content is chosen by you; parental guidance is recommended for age-appropriate titles.

Data retention and deletion

Data stays on your device until you delete a game in the library, clear App data, or remove the App. Uninstalling LimePlayer removes the App’s sandbox data on that device, including imported games and local settings.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share imported games or saves with third parties, because that content remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect rights and safety, to the limited extent such information exists outside your device (for example, email you send us for support).

International users

Processing described here occurs on your device. If you contact us by email, that correspondence is handled where those services operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
